Slightly longer-than-original shock absorbers can alter the steering angle and provide quicker steering.
Slightly shorter dampers than standard can alter the steering angle and make steering slower.
Before purchasing or installing shock absorbers of a different length to OEM, confirm that wheel travel can be modified without causing clearance issues, such as contact between swingarm/axle and exhaust, or between chain/belt guard and tyre.
Recommended for intensive use applications on motorcycles that operate at or near the maximum weight more than 50% of the time.
The recommended shock absorber is slightly longer than the original by design to offer maximum ground clearance, ride quality, and handling. The use of Progressive Suspension lowering or raising blocks is not recommended. Using a lowering or raising kit may void the warranty or damage the shock absorber/motorcycle.
