Complete Dyna-S single fire ignition kit with dual 5 Ohm coils. The mechanical advance unit must be purchased separately.
Note: Difference between single and dual ignition:
- Dual ignition: This is the operating system of pre-Twin Cam engines. A single coil is used and both spark plugs fire simultaneously. It is the simplest system. The 'wasted' spark is sometimes said to subtract horsepower.
- Single fire: This is the operating system of stock Twin Cam and M8 engines (00-up). Two independent coils fire the spark plugs and only the spark plug of the cylinder on the compression stroke is activated. These engines are said to vibrate less and can improve power. The effects are more noticeable with more aggressive camshafts and at high RPM.
