Dynatek, Dyna-S ignition module. Single fire

Dyna-S ignition module for single ignition applications. Comes complete with rotor. Can be used on heads with one or two spark plugs. The required mechanical advance unit must be purchased separately.
Note: Dyna coil recommendations: 5 Ohm Dyna for road use, 3 Ohm Dyna for competition use.
Note: It is recommended to use ignition modules and coils from the same manufacturer. Using different brands may cause premature failure.
Note: Difference between single and dual fire ignition:
- Dual Fire: It is how earlier engines, prior to the Twin Cam, operate. A single coil is used and both spark plugs fire simultaneously. This is the simplest system. The «wasted» spark is said to slightly reduce power.
- Single fire: This is how 00-up Twin Cam engines operate as standard. Two independent coils fire the spark plugs and only the spark plug of the cylinder on the compression stroke will fire. These engines are said to vibrate less and may improve power. The effects will be more noticeable with more aggressive camshafts and at higher revolutions.
