Dynatek, Dyna Single Tower ignition coils. 12V, 5 ohm

Black. Designed for custom applications where 2 of these coils are used for single-connector head engines (2 spark plugs in total) running on a single-fire ignition system.
Note: It is recommended to use ignition modules and coils from the same manufacturer. Mixing different brands may cause premature failure.
Note: Difference between Single Fire and Dual Fire Ignition:
- Dual Fire Ignition - This is how earlier, pre-Twin Cam engines operate. A single coil is used and both spark plugs fire simultaneously. This is the simplest system. The 'wasted' spark is said to reduce power.
- Single Fire Ignition - This is the way stock 00-up Twin Cam engines operate. Two independent coils fire the spark plugs and only the spark plug of the cylinder on the compression stroke will fire. These engines are said to vibrate less and can improve power. The effects will be more pronounced with more aggressive camshafts and higher RPMs.
