Nippondenso starters assembled in the USA with reinforced components and tested with state-of-the-art equipment
The solenoid plunger, return damper and springs are replaced with reinforced components
The clutch shaft and rollers are replaced with hardened and ground components for greater durability
All components are assembled with a special lubricant for roller clutch applications
CNC-machined mounting noses joined with aerospace-grade fasteners
After assembly, all starters are bench-tested, including high and low voltage, locking torque, solenoid activation, amperage draw, load test, maximum rpm and motor impulse waveform.
Manufactured in the USA
Requires spacer block no. DS-196233 when fitted to FLT '99-'06 models. On Softail, Dyna and FXR models, oil lines and part of the wiring loom need to be relocated.
