Designed specifically for the Dyna FLD Switchback 12-16. The coil spring is slightly heavier and the bottom spring cap has a different design to allow a better fit with the panniers installed.

Progressive Suspension's best value for money, ideal as an OEM replacement. Nitrogen-charged double-wall steel body. Speed-sensitive multi-stage valves. Five-position cam-style preload adjustment.
Note: Black 412 shock absorbers can be supplied without the lower cover.
What are Progressive Suspension 'Heavy Duty' shocks?
If you are a light rider with a light passenger, the STD Duty series is probably your best choice; the Heavy Duty shocks will provide a firmer ride. For the bigger riders with a lot of luggage, the Heavy Duty springs are the best choice. Heavy Duty is not better, it is different.
Heavy Duty shocks or springs are recommended on motorcycles that operate at or near the manufacturer's maximum load more than 50% of the time.
