S&S, flywheel assembly, 06-17, 4-3/8" stroke. For OEM

OEM compatible. Stock 96", 103", 110" stroke is 4-3/8". These S&S rods have a press-fit gear pinion roller bearing bushing (not Timken®) for use with the stock 24004-03B gear pinion bearing, a weaker but OEM component-compatible solution. Complete with tapered crankpin pin ends that are compatible with stock H-D pistons. Balanced to 1035 grams total piston weight, which is OEM compatible.
Note: Engines with strokes over 4" may require S&&S piston oil jets and clearance notches between the piston and jet in the piston skirt to avoid contact.
Note: S&S pin shafts allow the use of replaceable bearing bushes in the bottom of the connecting rods. The first generation of S&S pin shafts, in use until 2012, had a 1.500" diameter. The second generation of S&S pin shafts, in use since 2013, have the larger 1.671" OEM diameter. S&S and OEM pin shafts are now identical in diameter, so S&S parts can be used to rebuild stock H-D flywheels, something previously not possible as H-D rebuild parts were not available and still are not.
Note: In all applications, the technician must be able to judge the components for their suitability in combination with the other engine components, before installation. It is important that an expert mechanic performs the installation and any necessary adjustments.
