Replacement crankcases for Twin Cam Touring and Dyna engines. They offer greater overall strength than OEM crankcases, especially in the front engine mount, an important factor in high-performance applications. CNC machined from high-strength heat-treated aluminium castings, these S&S crankcases are far more cost-effective than billet aluminium ones. A Timken® style sprocket shaft bearing is used to withstand the most demanding applications. All oil passages between the crankcase and the gearbox case cover are sealed with O-rings. Includes roller bearings for the camshaft and pinion shaft, and a Timken sprocket shaft bearing. The large camshaft chamber allows cam lifts of up to .675" without clearance work. Clearanced for strokes of up to 5". The crankcases are compatible with stock components such as the oil pump, camshaft support plate, gearbox case cover, etc. The crankcases include hardware and installation instructions.
Note: Includes camshafts, sprocket shaft and pinion shaft bearings.
Note: Installing the T124 engine in a 99-05 Dyna frame requires an oil line installation kit that is no longer available. This kit included a special transmission top cover and oil lines. Custom fabrication is required.
Note: Installing the T124 engine in a 99-06 Touring chassis requires the 902299 oil line installation kit. The stock transmission cover can be reused.
Note: Crankcases for the Softail engine, with internal balancers, are not available.
Note: In all applications, the technician must be able to assess the suitability of the components in combination with the other engine components before installation. It is important that a qualified mechanic carries out the installation and any necessary adjustments.
