S&S, complete cam cover kit with gear drive and 585GE cams

Gear-driven, easy-start 585G camshafts (0.585" lift). If you are looking for a high-performance gear-driven camshaft kit, it is advisable to upgrade the other components, as they can be improved. This S&S kit includes a standard or easy-start camshaft set, a replacement precision-tolerance oil pump, camshaft support plate, high-performance hydraulic lifters and chrome-molybdenum adjustable pushrods, which can be installed without removing the top end. The results? Higher, consistent oil pressure and all with gear-driven camshafts. Gear drive offers greater reliability, optimised camshaft timing with higher lift for better performance and reduced oil pump wear. All kits include direct-fit camshafts for easy installation.
