Accel, single-fire ignition system kit

Complete kit. Includes the Accel 902626 ignition module, the Accel 902624 single-fire ignition coil, a set of Accel U-grooved platinum spark plugs and the Accel 920275 300+ 8.8 mm spiral iron core high-performance universal ignition wire set. Features 14 advance curves, from stock to extreme, and an adjustable rev limiter. VOES input and tachometer output. Front cylinder static timing with LED light for easy setup.
Note: Difference between single and dual fire:
- Dual firing:
This is the system used by pre-Twin Cam engines. A single coil is employed and both spark plugs fire simultaneously. It is the simplest system. The "wasted" spark is said to slightly reduce power.
- Single shot:
It is the system used by stock Twin Cam engines (2000 models onwards). Two independent coils fire the spark plugs individually, activating only the plug of the cylinder on the compression stroke. These engines are said to vibrate less and may improve power. The effects are more noticeable with more aggressive camshafts and at higher RPM.
