The FEULING M8 oil-cooled cam chest kits include all the necessary components from the top to the bottom of the chest, conveniently packaged under a single part number. These combined kits not only ensure that every individual part is designed to work and function together, but that they do so in perfect harmony. These cam chest kits remove uncertainty from the ordering process and guarantee the engine builder maximum reliability, optimum performance and the lowest possible engine and oil temperatures.

Due to the high volume of calls and enquiries requesting the groove for the O-ring/seal on the M8 oil pump rear cover, we have added the groove (11/05/21). Although Feuling's in-house testing on healthy engines showed no benefit. The O-ring may have potential benefits in certain circumstances, such as engines with higher cylinder compression loss, poor subsell O-ring sealing, elevated crankcase breather hole and/or crankcase plug (see M8 PRO TIP below) and wider clearances between the lifter and lifter bore.
521 CAM - Aggressive pulling power with a "fierce" sound, the REAPER 521 profile will shine on 114" and larger engines with added compression ratio. Ported heads are not necessary but will complement the cam and add even more pulling power throughout the range. The stock throttle body produces an excellent power band and using a high-flow throttle body will increase peak power figures. A high-flow exhaust system and air filter are strongly recommended for optimum performance.
NOTE: High-lift valve springs are required on stock cylinder heads, see FEULING BEEHIVE valve spring kit #1107 or #1108. SE cylinder heads have high-lift valve springs and will accept the 521 profile cam. Monobloc high-strength pushrods are also strongly recommended, see #4087.

The kits include: FEULING high-volume oil pump, HIGH FLOW alloy cam plate, REAPER Series camshaft, short-travel roller hydraulic lifters, fixed-length pushrods, TIMKEN/KOYO cam bearings, rocker studs and nuts, gaskets, O-rings, ARP cam/crankshaft fasteners, washers, molybdenum lubricant and LOCTITE.
- The RACE SERIES Kits include a RACE SERIES lubrication system: 7075 alloy oil pump, RACE SERIES tappets, HIGH FLOW 7075 aluminium alloy camplate.
• 7075 aluminium alloy oil pump that is 50% harder and stronger than the factory pump, maintaining tighter tolerances under temperature, deeper scavenging sections than the HP+ oil pump.
• Deeper intake kidney ports than the HP+ series for greater intake flow volume • RACE SERIES hydraulic lifters have a .200" total travel designed with a slower bleed rate to handle high valve spring pressures, increase engine RPM before valve float, and feature greater roller clearance for aggressive ramp camshafts and clearance for the M8 exhaust cam front cam flange.
OIL LEVEL NOTE - DO NOT OVERFILL THE OIL TANK It is important to achieve the correct hot oil level on your bike. Feuling recommends keeping the oil level at 90%-99% of capacity when hot.
Note: The M8 oil scavenge port is on the right-hand side of the engine. Letting the bike idle or warm up on its side stand will naturally fill the crankcase and skew the oil level in the tank.
We recommend the following steps to achieve the correct oil level:
1. Check the oil level when cold.
2. Ride the motorcycle until it reaches operating temperature.
3. Switch off the motorbike while it is still in an upright position. (This ensures an accurate reading) 4. Once the motorbike is on its side stand, check the oil level.
5. Add or remove oil as necessary.
