DC upper fork seal kit - 48 mm

The kit allows installation on a single fork tube. Two kits are required for a full overhaul.
SKF's innovative Dual Compound fork seals stand out for their superior performance, smoothness, maximum protection against water and dirt, and for delivering the best riding experience. Manufactured with SKF's exclusive "Super Low Friction NBR" compound.
They feature a robust internal metal reinforcement that provides adequate support to the sealing lips, ensuring reduced friction in the fork and exceptional durability. The two compounds used, green and red, have unique characteristics. The green part is tough and durable, maintaining high surface grip without increasing friction.
The red part is soft and flexible, adapting to the micro-imperfections of the fork tube and allowing exceptional movement. The fork seal has been completely redesigned and incorporates an open, self-cleaning spring to increase sealing pressure.
The new spring allows mud to flow through the open coil, ensuring stable radial load on the sealing lip and optimising the contact pattern with the shaft. The new internal metal component in the wiper and seal provides the structural integrity required for optimal operation of the sealing lips.
The lips have been redesigned on both components to ensure maximum exclusion of contaminants and improve tracking on the rod. This product represents the most advanced solution in the fork seal market, offering a unique combination of materials and design that ensures durability, high performance and adaptability in all operating conditions.
