Primary displacement kits 6-speed Dyna 2006-2017 & Softail 2007-2017 - compensating sprocket (OEM

In 2006 the OEM transmission for Dyna and in 2007 for Softail changed from 5 to a "Sportster-style" trap door mounted 6-speed. With this, all internal parts changed including the mainshaft and the main drive gear. All previously available offset kits no longer fit the current OEM 6-speed Big Twin transmission. Therefore Ton Pels has designed a completely new offset kit. This kit allows the use of wide swingarms for rear tyres up to 280, keeping the wheel perfectly centred on the motorcycle. The kits come with all necessary parts, such as an extended transmission mainshaft and extended main gear pinion, primary spacer ring, primary spacer blocks, extended clutch pushrod, crankshaft extension and all gaskets, O-rings and hardware. The 280 kit also includes a chassis offset side plate. The transmission mainshaft and main drive gear are CNC machined from High Stress 20CrMnT with forged steel gears by one of the world's leading car transmission factories. Gear and shaft are hardened and stress relieved to a core hardness of 35 to 45 Rockwell and have a surface hardness of 58 to 60 Rockwell. The kit must be used with the 20mm rear belt.
 
 Note: The kit for 2012-2013 models also fits 2014 models when installed with a 2013-style compensator.
