The name says it all. The Vance & Hines Pro Pipe is the ultimate expression of performance for your Harley-Davidson Big Twin, plain and simple. With more than twenty years of Pro Pipe evolution, it has all the ingredients to make power: stepped headers, a large collector and a long megaphone muffler. The latest generation of the Pro Pipe now features innovative PCX™ technology, integrating a high-flow catalyst with chambers in the megaphone for greater torque gains and the bone-shaking roar of a drag bike.

Explanation of the innovative PCX™ technology from Vance & Hines: More power and less heat.
PCX™ (Power Chamber Exhaust) technology is in fact high-flow chambered catalytic converters. They are used to increase mid-range torque for more responsive acceleration from standstill. They are positioned downstream to reduce heat by up to 20% at the footrests/pegs and 50% at the header, optimising rider comfort compared to the stock system.
PCX™ technology uses a high-flow dual-matrix catalyst that improves torque delivery through the mid-range for more responsive acceleration. All while producing a deeper, fuller roar, without compromising the style of any Vance & Hines exhaust system.
Technical tip: Pre-2021 US silencers on a 2021 onwards EU Softail/Touring?
US models from 2021 onwards have only 2 O2 sensors in the headers. EU models from 2021 onwards (Euro 5 system) have a total of 3 or 4 O2 sensors, plus 1 or 2 downstream in the silencer(s) or in the balance pipe of the crossover section. Therefore, 2021 onwards US exhaust systems will not fit 2021 onwards EU models.
The FuelPak FP4 (part number 942227) allows you to deactivate the 2nd downstream O2 sensor without triggering fault codes. This will allow you to use pre-2021 US or EU exhaust silencers that are not equipped with a downstream O2 sensor connection.
