Dynatek, Twin Fire II coil. Single fire, 2 spark plugs

Single fire ignition coil. For single plug heads (2 spark plugs in total) in single fire applications. Primary resistance of 3 ohms. Compatible with the Dyna 2000i and most other electronic ignition systems.
Note: Not compatible with Dyna-S ignition modules, which require a 5 ohm primary resistance.
Note: It is recommended to use ignition modules and coils from the same manufacturer. Using different brands may cause premature failure.
Note: Difference between single fire and dual fire:
- Dual fire - This is how earlier, pre-Twin Cam engines operate. A single coil is used and both spark plugs fire simultaneously. This is the simplest system. The 'wasted' spark is said to reduce power.
- Single fire - This is how stock Twin Cam engines from model year 00 onwards work. Two independent coils fire the spark plugs and only the spark plug of the cylinder on the compression stroke is ignited. These engines are said to vibrate less and may improve power. The effects will be more noticeable with more aggressive camshafts and at higher RPMs.
