FEULING M8 oil-cooled cam chest kits include all necessary components from the top to the bottom of the chest, conveniently packaged under a single part number. These combined kits not only ensure that each individual part is designed to work and function together, but to do so in perfect harmony. These cam chest kits eliminate the guesswork from the ordering process and guarantee the engine builder maximum reliability, optimum performance and the lowest possible engine and oil temperatures.

- The HP+ series kits include a CNC machined 6061 aluminium high-volume oil pump, the FEULING HIGH FLOW cam plate, HP+ hydraulic roller lifters and the cam installation kit.
The 465 kits are available in FEULING HP+ and RACE SERIES combinations with chain drive REAPER camshafts.
465 CAM - The Reaper 465 is a screamer, producing solid low-range performance with substantial gains above 2,800 RPM compared to stock equipment. This direct replacement for M8 engines can be used with stock valve springs, pushrods, lifters and exhaust. It will respond well with slip-on mufflers and/or a high-performance exhaust system and air filter. The use of high-performance valve springs is not mandatory, but may result in a quieter and smoother valve train. See Feuling #1107. This cam will also respond well to an increase in displacement or compression.

The kits include: FEULING high-volume oil pump, HIGH FLOW machined aluminium cam plate, REAPER Series camshaft, roller hydraulic lifters, fixed-length pushrods, TIMKEN/KOYO cam bearings, rocker studs and nuts, gaskets, O-rings, ARP cam/crankshaft fasteners, washers, molybdenum lubricant and LOCTITE.
Due to the large volume of calls and enquiries requesting the groove for the O-ring/cover seal on the M8 oil pump rear cover, we have added the groove! (11/05/21). Although Feuling's in-house testing on healthy engines showed no benefit. The O-ring may have potential benefits in certain circumstances, such as engines with greater cylinder compression loss, poor sealing of the internal O-ring, elevated crankcase bore and/or crankcase plug (see M8 PRO TIP below) and wider clearances between the lifter and lifter bore.
OIL LEVEL NOTE - DO NOT EXCEED THE OIL TANK OIL LEVEL It is important to obtain the correct hot oil level on your bike. Feuling recommends keeping the oil level at 90%-99% of capacity when hot.
Note: The M8 oil sump is on the right-hand side of the engine. Letting the bike idle or warm up on the side stand will naturally fill the sump and distort the oil level in the tank.
We recommend the following steps to achieve the correct oil level:
1. Check the oil level when cold.
2. Ride the motorcycle until it reaches operating temperature.
3. Switch off the motorbike whilst it is still in an upright position. (This ensures an accurate reading) 4. Once the motorbike is on its side stand, check the oil level.
5. Add or remove oil as necessary.
