S&S, forged oil pump. 92-99 style. Universal cover

The custom oil pump cover offers both the bottom feed and OEM-style oil return line as well as custom top placement options. Fully CNC machined to maintain tight tolerances and strict quality control. This pump is not equipped with a provision for rear chain lubrication. All S&S forged aluminium pumps come complete with everything needed to replace the stock pump and include fitting instructions. Machined with an oil pressure relief passage that reduces pressure build-up on top of the valve to maintain constant oil pressure. The oil pressure regulation bypasses excess oil directly to the supply side of the pump and reduces the amount of oil returned to the tank, decreasing foam formation and cavitation.
Note: There may be more differences in Harley-Davidson engine crankcases than is thought. Sometimes it is necessary to plug or drill a hole. S&S offers a drilling template as MCS 518150. This is a special tool that mounts on the crankcase and is used as a guide to help drill the holes correctly.
