Inspired by the Vance & Hines Race team competing in the King of the Baggers class of the MotoAmerica Road Racing Championships, the Hi-Output RR (Race Replica) captures every exciting element of the race exhaust system in a system you can install on your M8 Touring model as part of your own high-performance bagger build. Constructed in high-quality 304 stainless steel, the hand-TIG-welded head pipes step from 1.75" to 1.875" and then to 2.0", feeding the same oversized collector used in the race system. The collector is even rotated to add extra ground clearance and allow steeper lean angles in corners. The system is completed with the mid-length 4" megaphone muffler, adorned with the same laser-cut double-layer riveted badge as the race system, and features V&H's innovative PCX™ technology, which integrates a high-flow catalytic converter with a chamber for a greater increase in torque when accelerating from a standstill and exiting corners.

PCX™ (Power Chamber Exhaust) technology is technically a high-flow chambered catalytic converter. It is used to increase mid-range torque for more responsive acceleration from standstill. It is positioned downstream to reduce heat by up to 20% at the footrests/platforms and 50% at the header, optimising rider comfort compared to the stock system.
PCX™ technology uses a high-flow dual-matrix catalyst that improves torque delivery through the mid-range for more responsive acceleration. All while producing a deeper, fuller roar, without compromising the design of any Vance & Hines exhaust system.

The FuelPak FPX tuner (part number 724851) allows you to deactivate the second downstream O2 sensor in the muffler, or in the balance pipe of the crossover section, without triggering fault codes. This will allow you to use earlier/US-model mufflers that are not equipped with an O2 sensor connection.
