The kit includes: cam change gasket and seal 588035, Races series lifter sets 707355, Race series oil pump 707379, red anodised high-flow cam plate 588056.
The FEULING CENTER/WATER COOLED lubrication system kits combine all the components needed to complete the lubrication system of your M8 engine under 1 part number, available in HP+ or RACE SERIES kits. FEULING lubrication system kits increase oil pressure, oil volume, engine oil flow and return oil scavenge.

The RACE series kits include the FEULING high-flow CNC-machined aluminium cam plate, made from 7075 aluminium, which is 50% harder and stronger than factory cam plates. FEULING increases oil flow and volume by enlarging the oil pump reservoirs and critical oil passages, including matching the oil port holes throughout the cam plate to the port holes in the engine case, increasing engine oil flow to the lifters, piston cooling jets, crankshaft and connecting rod bearings.
FEULING oil pumps are bench tested; the relief valve is seated and sealed at a minimum of 30 psi, with full opening at 55-60 psi. The greater oil volume from the larger gears and correctly sized passages, together with the pressure relief valve seat and seal of these oil pumps, is essential for correct lubrication system operation. The combination of the FEULING oil pump and cam plate eliminates the common pressure and scavenging issues associated with factory lubrication systems.
Due to the high volume of calls and enquiries requesting the groove for the seal/O-ring on the M8 oil pump rear cover, we have added the groove! (11/05/21). Although Feuling's in-house testing on healthy engines showed no benefit. The O-ring may have potential benefits in certain circumstances, such as engines with higher cylinder compression loss, poor subsell O-ring sealing, elevated crankcase breather hole and/or crankcase plug (see M8 PRO TIP below) and wider clearances between the lifter and lifter bore.
- The RACE series kits include a hard anodised 7075 aluminium oil pump, which is 50% harder and stronger than the factory pump, maintaining tighter tolerances under temperature. The RACE series M8 oil pumps have deeper sump wells compared to the HP+ wells for greater scavenge volume. The RACE series hydraulic lifters have a total travel of .200", designed with a slower bleed rate to handle high valve spring pressures, increase engine RPM before valve float, and feature greater roller clearance for cams with steep ramps and clearance for the front exhaust lobe flange of the M8 cam. The kits include the RACE series oil pump, RACE series lifters, high-flow cam plate and cam installation kit, cam bearing, cam/crankshaft bolts and washers, engine assembly lubricant and fasteners.
- #8022: Optional FEULING X ARP bolt kit available for the #8017 HIGHFLOW cam plate and HP+ or RS oil pump combination. The ARP bolts for oil pumps 7018, 7019, 7020 and 7021 do not use washers.
OIL LEVEL NOTE - DO NOT OVERFILL THE OIL TANK It is important to achieve the correct hot oil level on your bike. Feuling recommends keeping the oil level at 90%-99% of capacity when hot.
Note: The M8 oil outlet is on the right-hand side of the engine. Letting the bike warm up at idle on the side stand will naturally fill the crankcase and distort the oil level in the tank.
We recommend the following steps to achieve the correct oil level:
1. Check the oil level when cold.
2. Ride the motorcycle until it reaches operating temperature.
3. Switch off the motorbike whilst it is still in an upright position. (This ensures an accurate reading) 4. Once the motorbike is on its side stand, check the oil level.
5. Add or remove oil as necessary.
