FEULING M8 Center/Water Cooled cam chest kits include all components needed from the top to the bottom of the case, conveniently packaged under a single part number. These combined kits not only ensure that every individual part is designed to work and function together, but to do so in total harmony. These cam chest kits remove the uncertainty from the ordering process and guarantee the engine builder maximum reliability, optimum performance and the lowest possible engine and oil temperatures.

Due to the large volume of calls and enquiries requesting the groove for the M8 oil pump rear cover O-ring/seal, we have added the groove (11/05/21). Although Feuling's in-house testing on healthy engines showed no benefit. The O-ring may have potential benefits in certain circumstances, such as engines with increased cylinder compression loss, poor sub-seal O-ring sealing, elevated crankcase breather hole and/or crankcase plug (see the PRO M8 TIP below) and wider clearances between the lifter and lifter bore.
538 CAM - Aggressive camshaft with a "fierce" sound. This camshaft revs quickly and pulls hard on engines with large displacement cylinders, modified heads, intake, compression and exhaust. The REAPER 538 profile will shine in 124" and larger displacement engines with increased compression ratio. Ported heads are not required but will complement the cam and add even more pulling power throughout the range. The stock throttle body produces an excellent power band and the use of a high-flow throttle body will increase peak power figures. A high-flow exhaust system and air cleaner is highly recommended for optimum performance. FEULING recommends pairing this cam with our RACE SERIES oiling system.
NOTE: High-lift valve springs are required on stock heads, see FEULING BEEHIVE valve spring kit #1107 or #1108. SE heads have high-lift valve springs but should be checked. Heavy-duty one-piece pushrods are also highly recommended, see #4087.

- The RACE SERIES Kits include a RACE SERIES lubrication system: forged 7075 oil pump, RACE SERIES tappets, 7075 forged aluminium HIGH FLOW cam plate.
• 7075 forged aluminium oil pump that is 50% harder and stronger than the factory pump, maintaining tighter tolerances under temperature, deeper scavenger rotors than the HP+ oil pump.
• Deeper scavenging kidney ports than the HP+ series for greater scavenging flow volume • RACE SERIES hydraulic lifters have a .200" total travel designed with a slower bleed rate to handle high valve spring pressures, increase engine RPM before valve float and feature greater roller clearance for camshafts with aggressive ramps and clearance for the M8 front exhaust cam flange.
OIL LEVEL NOTE - DO NOT OVERFILL THE OIL TANK It is important to achieve the correct hot oil level on your motorbike. Feuling recommends keeping the oil level at 90%-99% when hot.
Note: The M8 oil drain plug is on the right-hand side of the engine. Letting the motorbike idle or warm up on the side stand will naturally fill the engine block and divert the oil level in the tank.
We recommend the following steps to achieve the correct oil level:
1. Check the oil level when cold.
2. Ride the motorcycle until it reaches operating temperature.
3. Switch off the motorbike whilst it is still in an upright position. (This ensures an accurate reading) 4. Once the motorbike is on its side stand, check the oil level.
5. Add or remove oil as necessary.
