FEULING M8 oil-cooled cam chest kits include all the components needed from the top to the bottom of the cam chest, conveniently packaged under a single part number. These combined kits not only ensure that each individual part is designed to work and function together, but to do so in perfect harmony. These cam chest kits remove the guesswork from the ordering process and guarantee the engine builder maximum reliability, optimum performance and the lowest possible engine and oil temperatures.

508 CAM - "The Grim Reaper" Aggressive pulling power with a "fierce" sound. This camshaft accelerates faster than the 521 profile, sounds fiercer and pulls harder, but is more difficult to tune. The REAPER 508 profile will excel in 114" and larger displacement engines with added compression ratio. Ported heads are not mandatory, but will complement the camshaft and add even more pulling power across the range. The stock throttle body produces an excellent power band, and using a high flow throttle body will increase peak power figures. A high flow exhaust system and air filter are strongly recommended for optimum performance.
NOTE: High-lift valve springs are required on stock cylinder heads, see FEULING BEEHIVE valve spring kit no. 1107 or no. 1108. SE cylinder heads have high-lift valve springs and will accept the 521 profile camshaft. Heavy-duty one-piece pushrods are also strongly recommended, see no. 4087.
Due to the high volume of calls and enquiries requesting the groove for the seal/O-ring on the M8 oil pump rear cover, we have added the groove (11/05/21). Although Feuling's in-house testing on healthy engines showed no benefit. The O-ring may have potential benefits in certain circumstances, such as engines with higher cylinder compression loss, poor subsell O-ring sealing, elevated crankcase breather hole and/or crankcase plug (see the M8 PRO TIP below) and wider clearances between the lifter and the housing.

The kits include: FEULING high volume oil pump, HIGH FLOW alloy camplate, REAPER Series camshaft, short travel hydraulic roller lifters, fixed length pushrods, TIMKEN/KOYO camshaft bearings, lifter blocks and nuts, gaskets, O-rings, ARP cam/crankshaft fasteners, washers, molybdenum lubricant and LOCTITE.
The RACE SERIES kits include a RACE SERIES lubrication system: 7075 alloy oil pump, RACE SERIES lifters, HIGH FLOW 7075 aluminium alloy cam plate.
• 7075 aluminium alloy oil pump that is 50% harder and stronger than the factory pump, maintaining tighter tolerances under temperature, deeper scavenging sections than the HP+ oil pump.
• Deeper suction kidney ports than the HP+ series for greater suction flow volume.
• The SERIE RACE hydraulic lifters have a total travel of .200" designed with a slower bleed rate to handle high valve spring pressures, increase engine RPM before valve float, and feature increased roller clearance for camshafts with steep ramps and clearance for the front exhaust M8 cam flange.
OIL LEVEL NOTE - DO NOT OVERFILL THE OIL TANK It is important to obtain the correct hot oil level on your bike. Feuling recommends keeping the oil level at 90%-99% when hot.
Note: The M8 oil filler is on the right-hand side of the engine. Letting the bike idle or warm up on its side stand will naturally fill the engine sump and skew the oil level in the tank.
We recommend the following steps to achieve the correct oil level:
1. Check the oil level when cold.
2. Ride the motorcycle until it reaches operating temperature.
3. Switch off the motorbike while it is still in an upright position. (This ensures an accurate reading) 4. Once the motorbike is on its side stand, check the oil level.
5. Add or remove oil as necessary.
