FEULING M8 CENTER/WATER COOLED (Twin Cooled) top end kits include all the necessary components from the top of the head down, conveniently packaged under a single part number. These combined kits not only ensure that every individual part is designed to work and function together, but that they do so in perfect harmony. These top end kits take the guesswork out of the ordering process and guarantee the engine builder maximum reliability, optimum performance and the lowest possible engine and oil temperatures.

The HP+ series kits include a high-volume oil pump machined from 6061 aluminium, the FEULING high-flow cam plate, HP+ hydraulic roller lifters and the cam installation kit.
The 472 top end kits are available in FEULING HP+ and RACE SERIES combinations with chain drive REAPER camshafts.
The Reaper 472 is a versatile camshaft and Feuling's default choice for 4 1/2" stroke 114" - 117" engines with a camshaft angle, looking for a little more than our 465 profile and wanting a bolt-in installation. The 472 has excellent low-rpm operation with substantial gains above 2,900 RPM compared to stock. Responds very well to increased bore and/or compression, exhaust system and air filter. The use of high-performance valve springs is not mandatory, but can result in a quieter, smoother valve train. See Feuling part number #1107 or #1108.
The kits include: FEULING high volume oil pump, machined high-flow cam plate, REAPER series camshaft, hydraulic roller lifters, fixed length pushrods, TIMKEN/KOYO cam bearings, rocker studs and nuts, gaskets, O-rings, ARP cam/crankshaft fasteners, washers, molybdenum lubricant and LOCTITE.

Due to the large volume of calls and enquiries with requests for the O-ring groove/seal on the M8 oil pump rear cover, we have added the groove! (11/05/21). Although Feuling's internal testing on healthy engines showed no benefit. The O-ring may have potential benefits in certain circumstances, such as engines with higher compression loss, poor sealing of the internal O-ring, elevated crankcase bore and/or crankcase plug (see M8 PRO TIP below) and wider tappet-to-tappet-bore clearances.
OIL LEVEL NOTE - DO NOT EXCEED THE OIL TANK LEVEL It is important to obtain the correct hot oil level on your bike. Feuling recommends keeping the oil level at 90%-99% of capacity when hot.
Note: The oil drain plug on the M8 is on the right-hand side of the engine. Letting the bike idle or warm up on its side stand will naturally fill the crankcase and skew the oil level in the tank.
We recommend the following steps to achieve the correct oil level:
1. Check the oil level when cold.
2. Ride the motorcycle until it reaches operating temperature.
3. Switch off the motorbike whilst it is still in an upright position. (This ensures an accurate reading) 4. Once the motorbike is on its side stand, check the oil level.
5. Add or remove oil as necessary.
