FEULING M8 CENTER/WATER COOLED camchest kits include all the components needed from the top to the bottom of the cam chest, conveniently packaged under a single part number (#). These combined kits not only ensure that every individual part is designed to work and function together, but to do so in perfect harmony. These camchest kits remove the guesswork from the ordering process and guarantee the engine builder maximum reliability, optimal performance and the lowest possible engine and oil temperatures.

The HP+ SERIES Kits include a high-volume oil pump machined from 6061 aluminium, the FEULING HIGH FLOW camplate, HP+ roller hydraulic lifters and the camshaft installation kit.
405 CAM - A workhorse, producing a broad power range by increasing torque and HP across the entire RPM range compared to stock. Direct replacement for M8 engines, can be used with stock valve springs, pushrods, rockers and exhaust. It will respond well with slip-on mufflers and/or a full exhaust system and high-flow air filter. Note: Feuling recommends using free-flowing mufflers with smaller cores for the best power and low-RPM pull.
The kits include: FEULING high volume oil pump, high flow machined camplate, Serie REAPER camshaft, hydraulic roller lifters, fixed length pushrods, TIMKEN/KOYO cam bearings, lifter blocks and nuts, gaskets, O-rings, ARP cam/crankshaft fasteners, washers, molybdenum lubricant and LOCTITE.
Due to the high volume of calls and enquiries requesting the O-ring/seal for the groove in the M8 oil pump rear cover, we have added the groove! (11/05/21). Although Feuling's in-house testing on healthy engines showed no benefit. The O-ring may have potential benefits in certain circumstances, such as engines with greater compression loss per cylinder, poor sealing of the internal O-ring, raised crankcase breather hole and/or crankcase plug (see the M8 PRO TIP below) and wider clearances between the rocker arm and its housing.
OIL LEVEL NOTE - DO NOT OVERFILL THE OIL TANK It is important to achieve the correct hot oil level on your bike. Feuling recommends keeping the oil level at 90%-99% of capacity when hot.
Note: The M8 oil pick-up is on the right-hand side of the engine. Letting the motorbike idle or warm up on the side stand will naturally fill the crankcase and skew the oil level in the tank.
We recommend the following steps to achieve the correct oil level:
1. Check the oil level when cold.
2. Ride the motorcycle until it reaches operating temperature.
3. Switch off the motorbike whilst it is in an upright position. (This ensures an accurate reading)
4. Once the motorbike is on its side stand, check the oil level.
5. Add or remove oil as necessary.
