Chain drive. Chain drive is the original system. Runs more quietly. Includes the high-end S&S 907796 cam chain tensioner kit.
Complete oil pump, oil pump/cam support plate, push rods, tappets, tappet blocks and high-performance 475 cam kit. The pump and support plate are a direct replacement for the stock components. Anodised blue finish and precision machined from forged aluminium. The cam plate comes with bronze bearings and a steel 'wear plate' to protect the plate body from the steel oil pump rotors; the passage plugs are removable for maintenance. The oil pump comes with independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam compartment, with debris screens in both scavenge inlets and a magnet in the cam compartment to help trap debris before it enters the pump. Oil flow is increased on both the feed and scavenge sides. The pressure relief valve is adjustable and can be adjusted with the pump installed on the engine.
The pushrods are 'Quickee', allowing installation without removing the cylinder head, and come complete with a gloss black pushrod cover kit. The lifters are S&S precision and include S&S forged aluminium lifter blocks. The included S&S 475 cam is a bolt-in and offers up to 100 horsepower.
