FEULING M8 oil-cooled cam chest kits include all the components needed from the top to the bottom of the cam chest, conveniently packaged under a single part number. These combined kits not only ensure that each individual part is designed to work and function together, but to do so in perfect harmony. These cam chest kits remove the guesswork from the ordering process and guarantee the engine builder maximum reliability, optimum performance and the lowest possible engine and oil temperatures.

Due to the high volume of calls and enquiries requesting the seal/O-ring groove for the M8 oil pump rear cover, we have added the groove! (11/05/21). Although Feuling's in-house testing on healthy engines showed no benefit. The O-ring may have potential benefits in certain circumstances, such as engines with increased cylinder-by-cylinder compression loss, poor sub-seal O-ring sealing, elevated crankcase breather hole and/or crankcase plug (see M8 PRO TIP below) and wider clearances between the lifter and bore.
538 CAM - Aggressive camshaft with a "fierce" sound. This camshaft accelerates quickly and pulls hard on engines with large-bore cylinders, modified heads, intake, compression and exhaust. The REAPER 538 profile will shine on 124" and larger engines with increased compression ratio. Ported heads are not mandatory but will complement the camshaft and add even more pulling power throughout the range. The stock throttle body produces an excellent power band and using a high-flow throttle body will increase peak power figures. A high-flow exhaust system and air filter are strongly recommended for optimal performance. FEULING recommends pairing this camshaft with our RACE SERIES oiling system.
NOTE: High-lift valve springs are required on stock heads, see FEULING BEEHIVE valve spring kit #1107 or #1108. SE heads have high-lift valve springs but should be checked. Heavy-duty one-piece pushrods are also highly recommended, see #4087.

The kits include: FEULING high-volume oil pump, HIGH FLOW CNC machined aluminium cam plate, REAPER Series camshaft, roller hydraulic lifters, fixed-length pushrods, TIMKEN/KOYO camshaft bearings, rocker studs and nuts, gaskets, O-rings, ARP cam/crankshaft fasteners, washers, molybdenum lubricant and LOCTITE.
-The RACE SERIES Kits include a RACE SERIES lubrication system: 7075 machined aluminium oil pump, RACE SERIES lifters, 7075 machined aluminium HIGH FLOW cam plate.
• CNC-machined 7075 aluminium oil pump that is 50% harder and stronger than the factory pump, maintaining tighter tolerances under temperature, deeper scavenging sections than the HP+ oil pump.
• Intake kidney ports deeper than the HP+ series for greater intake flow volume • RACE SERIES hydraulic lifters have a .200" total travel designed with a slower bleed rate to handle high valve spring pressures, increase engine RPM before valve float and feature greater roller clearance for camshafts with aggressive ramps and clearance for the front M8 exhaust cam flange.
OIL LEVEL NOTE - DO NOT OVERFILL THE OIL TANK It is important to achieve the correct hot oil level on your motorbike. Feuling recommends keeping the oil level at 90%-99% when hot.
Note: The M8 oil pick-up is on the right-hand side of the engine. Letting the bike idle or warm up on its side stand will naturally fill the gear case and skew the oil level in the tank.
We recommend the following steps to achieve the correct oil level:
1. Check the oil level when cold.
2. Ride the motorcycle until it reaches operating temperature.
3. Switch off the motorbike whilst it is still in an upright position. (This ensures an accurate reading)
4. Once the motorbike is on its side stand, check the oil level.
5. Add or remove oil as necessary.
