FEULING M8 water-cooled (Twin Cooled) camchest kits include all the components needed from the top to the bottom of the chest, conveniently packaged under a single part number (#). These combined kits not only ensure that every individual part is designed to work and function together, but to do so in perfect harmony. These camchest kits remove the guesswork from the ordering process and guarantee the engine builder maximum reliability, optimal performance and the lowest possible engine and oil temperatures.

Due to the high volume of calls and enquiries requesting the groove for the retainer/O-ring in the M8 oil pump rear cover, we have added the groove! (11/05/21). Although Feuling's in-house testing on healthy engines showed no benefit. The O-ring may have potential benefits in certain circumstances, such as engines with increased cylinder compression loss, poor sealing of the sub-seal O-ring, elevated crankcase breather port and/or crankcase plug (see the M8 PRO TIP below) and looser tappet-to-bore clearances.
- The HP+ SERIES kits include a 6061 machined aluminium high volume oil pump, FEULING high flow cam plate, HP+ roller hydraulic lifters and camshaft installation kit.
The 472 crankcase kits are available in FEULING HP+ and RACE SERIES combinations with chain-driven REAPER camshafts.
The Reaper 472 is an excellent all-round camshaft and Feuling's preferred option for 4 1/2 stroke races with a 114" - 117" camshaft axis angle, seeking a little more than our 465 profile and wanting a direct bolt-in installation. The 472 has excellent low-rev running with substantial gains above 2,900 RPM compared to the original. Responds very well to increased bore diameter and/or compression, exhaust system and air filter. The use of high-performance valve springs is not mandatory, but may result in a quieter, smoother valve train. See Feuling #1107 or #1108.
The kits include: FEULING high-volume oil pump, high-flow machined aluminium cam plate, REAPER Series camshaft, roller hydraulic lifters, fixed-length pushrods, TIMKEN/KOYO cam bearings, rocker studs and nuts, gaskets, O-rings, ARP cam/crankshaft fasteners, washers, molybdenum lubricant and LOCTITE.
- The RACE SERIES kits include a RACE SERIES lubrication system: 7075 machined aluminium oil pump, RACE SERIES lifters, high flow 7075 machined aluminium cam plate.
• Machined 7075 aluminium oil pump that is 50% harder and more durable than the factory pump, maintaining tighter tolerances under temperature, with deeper scavenge rotors than the HP+ oil pump.
• Deeper suction kidney ports than the HP+ series for greater suction flow volume.
• RACE SERIES hydraulic lifters have .200" total travel designed with a slower bleed rate to handle high valve spring pressures, increase engine RPM before valve float and feature increased roller clearance for steep-ramp camshafts and clearance for the M8 front exhaust cam lobe flange.

OIL LEVEL NOTE - DO NOT EXCEED THE OIL TANK LEVEL It is important to obtain the correct hot oil level on your bike. Feuling recommends keeping the oil level at 90%-99% of capacity when hot.
Note: The M8 oil drain plug is on the right-hand side of the engine. Leaving the motorbike idling or warming it up on the side stand will naturally fill the crankcase and skew the oil level in the tank.
We recommend the following steps to achieve the correct oil level:
1. Check the oil level when cold.
2. Ride the motorcycle until it reaches operating temperature.
3. Switch off the motorbike whilst it is in an upright position. (This ensures an accurate reading)
4. Once the motorbike is on its side stand, check the oil level.
5. Add or remove oil as necessary.
