FEULING M8 water-cooled cam chest kits include all components needed from the top to the bottom of the case, conveniently packaged under a single part number. These combined kits not only ensure that every individual part is designed to work and function together, but to do so in total harmony. These cam chest kits remove the uncertainty from the ordering process and guarantee the engine builder maximum reliability, optimum performance and the lowest possible engine and oil temperatures.

Due to the large volume of calls and enquiries requesting the groove for the M8 oil pump rear cover seal/O-ring, we have added the groove! (11/05/21). Although Feuling's in-house testing on healthy engines showed no benefit. The O-ring may have potential benefits in certain circumstances, such as engines with increased cylinder compression loss, poor sub-seal O-ring sealing, elevated crankcase breather hole and/or crankcase plug (see the PRO M8 TIP below) and wider clearances between the lifter and lifter bore.
508 CAM - 'The Grim Reaper' Aggressive pulling power with a "fierce" sound. This camshaft accelerates faster than the 521 profile, sounds fiercer and pulls harder, but is more difficult to tune. The REAPER 508 profile will shine in 114" and larger displacement engines with added compression ratio. Ported heads are not mandatory, but will complement the camshaft and add even more pulling power across the range. The stock throttle body produces an excellent power band, and using a high flow throttle body will increase peak power figures. A high flow exhaust system and air filter are strongly recommended for optimum performance.
NOTE: High lift valve springs are required on the original heads, see FEULING BEEHIVE valve spring kit #1107 or #1108. SE heads have high lift valve springs and will accept the 521 profile camshaft. High-strength one-piece pushrods are also strongly recommended, see #4087.

Kits include: FEULING high volume oil pump, HIGH FLOW alloy camplate, REAPER Series camshaft, hydraulic roller lifters, fixed length pushrods, TIMKEN/KOYO cam bearings, rocker studs and nuts, gaskets, O-rings, ARP cam/crankshaft fasteners, washers, moly lubricant and LOCTITE.
The RACE SERIES Kits include a RACE SERIES oiling system: 7075 alloy oil pump, RACE SERIES lifters, high flow 7075 aluminium cam plate.
• 7075 alloy oil pump that is 50% harder and more durable than the factory pump, maintaining tighter tolerances under temperature, deeper suction rotors than the HP+ oil pump.
• Deeper intake kidney ports than the HP+ series for greater intake flow volume • The RACE SERIES hydraulic lifters have .200" total travel designed with a slower bleed rate to handle high valve spring pressures, increase engine RPM before valve float and feature greater roller clearance for aggressive ramp camshafts and clearance for the M8 front exhaust cam flange.
OIL LEVEL NOTE - DO NOT EXCEED THE OIL TANK LEVEL It is important to obtain the correct hot oil level on your bike. Feuling recommends keeping the oil level at 90%-99% of capacity when hot.
Note: The M8 oil scavenge port is on the right-hand side of the engine. Letting the bike idle or warm up on its side stand will naturally fill the crankcase and skew the oil level in the tank.
We recommend the following steps to achieve the correct oil level:
1. Check the oil level when cold.
2. Ride the motorcycle until it reaches operating temperature.
3. Switch off the motorbike while it is still in an upright position. (This ensures an accurate reading) 4. Once the motorbike is on its side stand, check the oil level.
5. Add or remove oil as necessary.
